Close to the rolling hills of the Peak District National Park, is the Club Site at Alton, The Star offers plenty of choice when it comes to heading outdoors. The site is located a mile from Alton Towers theme park, which has a host of family attractions ranging from adrenaline-fuelled roller coasters through to gentler rides for little ones. If you’re looking for something a little quieter, the site is ideally placed to explore the Peak District National Park and the Churnet Valley, with plenty of walks and natural beauty.  The area has a selection of Pottery Factory Shops, market towns and steam railways to enjoy. Further afield you’ll find a number of spas, great shopping centres and museums all showing off the heritage of this famous area. Non-members welcome.
