Ballfields Barn is a luxury self catering holiday cottage, converted in 2011, ideally located for holidays in the Staffordshire and Derbyshire Peak District in an area of outstanding natural beauty. With spectacular views over the surrounding countryside you can relax and unwind in a wonderful peaceful setting in this beautifully renovated detached character barn in the owners' grounds.
The barn is situated next to RSPB Coombes Valley Nature Reserve. Well located near the historic market town of Leek and many picturesque rural villages with fine pubs and restaurants. There are many attractions within a short drive, including several National Trust properties, Alton Towers Resort, Trentham Estate, Rudyard Lake, Churnet Valley Railway, the Roaches and Manifold Valley. The area offers wonderful walking, riding, cycling, and climbing opportunities.
