Hope Farm House Barn is a classic limestone farm building from the 1720’s, just outside Alstonefield, one of the prettiest villages of the Peak District. It is right on the borders of Derbyshire and Staffordshire, and Cheshire is only a few miles away. The River Dove is just a short walk, where Isaac Walton fished for trout, and wrote The Complete Angler.
