Bent Cottage is ideal, not only for those seeking peace and tranquillity, but also provides a perfect base for further exploration of the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak District. There is plenty of outdoor space to chill or for children to run off all their energy!
With the Churnet Valley Railway nearby and stunning walks and cycle trails taking you through the moorlands. Just a short drive away is the market town of Leek, Queen of the Moorlands, which offers a selection of shops, including fascinating antiques, bookshops and galleries, along with a number of restaurants and real ale pubs. A little further on is the fantastic. Roaches, which is ideal for walking, climbing and mountain biking, or just as a place where you can admire and take in outstanding views and scenery. Tittesworth Reservoir & visitor centre just six miles away, Alton Towers is also within driving distance. The Churnet Valley steam railway takes you back in time, and offers some exciting and themed trips. Should you require a pamper time a local beautician can be arranged at an additional cost. A refundable damage deposit of £100 is payable one week prior to arrival.
