About
The Earl Grey Inn is a traditional corner pub. The pub was first registered as a ‘Beer-House’ in 1831. All manner of wines & spirits have been served since a full license was granted in 1962. Despite refurbishment in 2014, when it also became a Free House, the pub still has time-honoured upholstered long pub benches, cast iron tables, and stools throughout, helping retain the atmosphere of it being a traditional ‘street corner boozer’. Pickled eggs and a log-burning stove are merely finishing touches.
