About
Newcastle-under-Lyme's historic town centre has markets six days a week - Monday to Saturday, with many Sunday event markets.
Set in the historic heart of Newcastle town centre, the market benefits from being in a busy high street and with great public transport links. There are Council-run town centre car parks within easy walking distance of the town.
The General Outdoor Market is held four times a week on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
It operates from 9am to 4pm each day selling a wide-range of fresh food, cooked food, eco-friendly products and other general market items.
The Antiques Market is operated by the Antique Forum Group every Tuesday. It's open from 8am to 3pm, selling a range of antiques, collectables and vintage items.
The Car Boot and Collectibles Market is operated by the Antique Forum Group every Thursday, open from 8am to 3pm and selling a range of bric-a-brac and collectable items.
Sunday event markets such as Castle Artisan Market, Vegan Festivals, Record Fairs and Greyhound Gap Bring-your-Dog Market take-over are highly successful markets. They offer a diverse range of event markets for all. Parking is free on Council-run car parks.
The annual Charity and Plant Market takes place on the Spring Bank Holiday in May each year. It’s an opportunity for charities of all kinds to promote good causes and raise funds. Stalls are available at no cost to the charity.
