The Staffordshire Hoard is the largest ever find of Anglo-Saxon treasure, worth over £3 million. Explore the history of the Potteries, including the world's greatest collection of Staffordshire Ceramics. The museum also has regular changing exhibitions such as 

Welcome Home! Celebration of of the Minton Archive.  This is an interactive exhibition of some of the museum's wonderful collection of Minton pieces to celebrate the return to Stoke of the extraordinary Archive.

Saxon Pots and Potters:  A new display presents archaeological evidence of late-Saxon pottery production in Stafford, shedding new light on early settlement and industry in the town.

Miners Tools:  See a range of equipment used by the miners over the years to extract coal. This continues our programme of displays on the coal industry.

Enjoy a light lunch or afternoon snack and relax at theMuseum Cafe with regular musical accompaniment by Frank Leigh or browse the Foyer Shop for unique quality gifts. Follow children's trails and enjoy drop in activities.

The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery is also home to Ozzy the famous pottery owl and Reginald Mitchell's World War 2 Mark XV1 Spitfire.
