LEEK TEXTILE WEEK

The workshop will introduce you to the basics of traditional lace-making techniques using bobbins. You will then create your own piece – approximately 6cm wide and up to 15cm long + fringe, inspired by the colours and dynamic forms of the Roaches.

All equipment and materials will be provided including yarn, a lace pillow, bobbins and natural materials foraged from the Roaches. If there are any dried grasses, herbs or other flexible plants that you want to bring, please feel free to do so to make this piece unique and meaningful to you.
