Bruce Asbestos’s Mole Hole Installation

About

Pepperpot the mole will be taking up residence at Ilam Park in the form of a large and captivating sculpture.

To further immerse you in Pepperpot's world and encourage a playful engagement with the landscape, we've created an exciting Pepperpot the Mole Trail. This engaging trail encourages visitors to hunt high and low, discover hidden corners of the park, and learn fascinating snippets along the way, making it a perfect activity for families.

Adding to the artistic fun, we are delighted to offer 10 free drop-in kids' craft workshops throughout the summer held in our riverside bell tent.

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 29 July - 28 August.

Children will have the opportunity to unleash their own creativity, taking inspiration from Pepperpot and the surrounding natural environment to create their own artistic masterpieces. These workshops offer a fantastic chance for hands-on fun and artistic exploration in a beautiful setting – all for free.

This exciting project, featuring the charming Pepperpot the Mole sculpture, the engaging trail, and the free kids' craft workshops, has been made possible thanks to the generous funding from Arts Council England. Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience Bruce Asbestos’s work in a whole new way! Check out our website for further details of the drop in workshops.
