Caroline Spiers, WWII Air Traffic Auxiliary Talk

About

Caroline will tell the story of her mother, Rita Baines. She joined the ATA (Air Traffic Auxiliary), in WWII delivering planes from factories to airfields.

We are a friendly, busy Historical Society, probably the oldest in Staffordshire, being founded in 1951.

Cheadle Historical Society has monthly meetings, combining speakers as well as visiting locations in the summer months.

Our membership fee is a very affordable £10.00. Subs are due this evening. For guests there is a £3.00 fee per meeting.

Everyone is welcome to join us at any meeting.
