CATE 2024: Craft, Art & Textile Event
Saturday 29th June 2024 - two events in one.
Handmade & Creative Fair in the Biddulph Town Hall from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. Free entry to all.
Stalls selling local handmade crafts, textiles, paintings, new & pre-loved craft supplies. Craft demonstrations, refreshments & cakes, with outside yarnbombing display of "Biddulph Goes Wild" by the Biddulph Yarnbarms.
Followed by History Wardrobe presents: The Secret Life of Knitting, a theatrical presentation by textile historian Lucy Adlington in the Biddulph Council Chamber @ 5:00pm - ticket only event £15. Join Lucy to learn about the amazing history of knitwear & crochet, showcasing a fascinating array of vintage garments.
There will also be a preview of Lucy's new Holocaust history "Four Red Sweaters".
