Clive Carroll returns to Alstonefield but this time with a new programme of music by John Renbourn, to mark the launch of his new album of Renbourn's music, with special guest Dariush Kanani.

Clive's international career began with John Renbourn inviting him to join him on tour, a collaboration that lasted many years and covered many countries. This happened after Renbourn heard the young Clive Carroll, recently graduated from Trinity College, playing in a folk club and immediately recognised him as a prodigious talent. The rest is history.

Now Clive has decided to honour the legacy of John Renbourn's contribution to the acoustic guitar with a twenty-two track album of Renbourn's music, which will be available at the gig. Joining him will be a new champion of acoustic guitar and the legacy of Renbourn, Bert Jansch and Davy Graham, Dariush Kanani, prompting memories of the famous duo of Bert Jansch and John Renbourn that revolutionised acoustic guitar playing in the UK.
