About
The Spring Equinox is the time when light and darkness are equal length – before the balance tips towards longer days and lighter evenings.
We are celebrating this special time with a magical walk around the park in the dark accompanied by music, lanterns, puppetry and celebration.
It might be muddy, so wear appropriate shoes and warm clothes.
Suitable for all ages, and accessible for all, the park will just have a slight gradient and some hard standing paths & grassy areas. Also, do bring a torch.
As part of Nature In Your Neighbourhood, Staffordshire Wildlife Trust are holding a ‘Build A Bird Activity’ where you are free to channel your creativity to mould a common UK bird out of clay between 4-6pm at Biddulph Valley Park. This is free for residents of the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Make your bird and book your place between 4pm and 6pm and then bring it along to participate in a special illuminated performance with us!
Please join us at 6:15pm and let us take you on a journey around the park. Please arrive before 6:15pm to book your free place.
Performance: 6:30pm – 7:15pm.
