Clarice Cliff was the celebrated creator of the iconic Bizarre Ware in the 1920s. She lived in Clayton in her later life. Her cutting-edge designs spawned countless imitations. Her fascinating life story is told in recent film The Colour Room, which you can see at the Brampton Museum this month.
