The National Memorial Arboretum has something for all ages this half term, from arts and crafts and interactive storytelling sessions to outdoor trails in our spring woodland.

Arbie Eye-Spy Winter Trail

Join Arbie as he explores the Arboretum's wintry woodland landscape, searching for frosty wonders, bare branches, and signs that spring is just around the corner, in this brand-new outdoor trail. Discover hidden wildlife, spot evergreen trees, and enjoy the crisp beauty of the Arboretum in winter.

Shadow Puppetry

Step into a world of storytelling and creativity with our Shadow Puppetry Sessions!
Perfect for families, these hands-on workshops invite you to explore the magic of light and shadow, sparking your imagination whilst you develop new skills. Come and let the shadows tell your story!

Stick Man Outdoor Trail

Youngest visitors will enjoy joining Stick Man on his journey back to the family tree. You can pick up a free copy of the self-led trail from the Welcome Desk. It is recommended that families wishing to try the trail wear appropriate footwear and clothing. The route may be unsuitable for some pushchairs.

Outdoor Play Areas

The Children's Sensory Play Garden can be found near to the Remembrance Centre. A second children's play area, with a picnic area, is near to the Children's Wood.

Food and Drink

Give your little ones a picnic experience, without needing to pack and carry lunch around, by picking up a healthy children's picnic packs from the restaurant.

They'll also have the fun of choosing the items themselves, as well as puzzles to complete on the picnic bags.
