Meet at Rudyard railway station from 5.45pm. Food will be served just before departure of your train at 6pm for a non-stop trip to Hunthouse Wood while you eat your food on-board. You'll enjoy the bygone era of dining on a train - and on a narrow-gauge railway!
The train will arrive at Hunthouse Wood station, the far end of the line at about 6.20pm, where there will be opportunity to view and take photos with the locomotive. There is some space for children to 'let off steam', and great views across Rudyard Lake.
The return trip departs at 6.40pm and arrives back at Rudyard station at 7pm.
If the evening is nice and you prefer to walk back along the path you are welcome to do so (approx 1.5 miles or 30 minutes' walk), or if you prefer a shorter walk then you are welcome to alight at The Dam station and walk back from there (approx half a mile or 10 minutes' walk).
At Rudyard there will be a final opportunity for photos with the locomotive before it goes to bed.

Under one year-olds that are not having their own meal are admitted for free (but you must order a free ticket).
