About
Funhouse Comedy Club starts the New Year at Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek on Thursday January 5th with another night full of laughter.
Topping the bill is multi-talented award winning comedian Phil Nichol, an acclaimed actor, producer, presenter, writer and musician he has also made various appearances on Radio and TV. Bursting with fun and frivolity, he loves to break boundaries and try something whilst enjoying a wonderfully hilarious mix of ridiculous rants, on practically every farcical subject conceivable. Audiences are always fascinated by his magnetic persona.
Opening the night will be the intelligent, fast fire Rob Mulholland with his sarcasm and clever annotations. Having performed his debut show at The Edinburgh Festival 2017 and appearing as the character 'Death' in Gary Delaney's comedy panel show 'Panelbeaters', he has plenty more tales to tell.
Also appearing is the delightfully funny Freddie Farrell with his brilliantly structured dead-pan material.
Completing the line-up will be the unique and hilarious Alex Martini, with his various tales.
Compere for the night will be the cheeky, chatty Dave Twentyman, who puts a big smile on everyone's face. Talking a lot about the subjects closer to home such as family life and friends.
