Explore our new self-guided heritage trail as it winds the clock back two hundred years and tells the story of the park estate and its history, linked to the development of Staffordshire’s canal infrastructure.

The heritage trail is a waymarked 7-kilometre route along country paths.  Some parts of this trail follow steep inclines, with some steps, and is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. 

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. Collect a leaflet at the visitor centre (ST8 7QX) to follow the route.
