On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October the museum is open from 11:00 to 16:30 with Shirley's 1857 Etruscan Bone & Flint Mill in steam and operating as in Victorian times from 12:30 to 16:30.

Parking and entry to the site is free and visitors can take a walk along the interesting and picturesque Trent and Mersey and Caldon canals. Refreshments and toilets are available in the Visitor Centre.

For those wanting to see the Museum and Mill, entry is £6.00 per adult with under 16 free when with a paying adult.

Due to the historic nature of the buildings access to the mill is restricted for those with mobility difficulties.
