History Talk - Uttoxeter During WW2

About

Join the team from Redfern's Cottage; Museum of Uttoxeter Life for a special local history talk to commemorate the 80th anniversary of V.E. day.
The 8th of May 1945 was a day of rejoicing as the nation celebrated the victorious end to nearly 6 years of war in Europe. Despite being far from the front lines, life in Uttoxeter was affected by the conflict in numerous ways. Join us to discover how World War 2 changed the town with stories of dad's army, air raids, Dingos, and earth-shaking explosions.

£10 per person. Complementary refreshments available at the beginning of the talk. This is a ticket only event with pre-booking of tickets required. To book your place please email events@redfernscottage.org Alternatively you can pop into the museum or phone us (01889 567176) during our opening hours, Tuesday to Saturday 10am - 2pm.
