'If these walls could talk' – A festival inspired by the hidden stories of Tamworth's heritage and iconic landmarks.

10-12 March 2023

We invite you to join us for a vibrant weekend of performances by award-winning authors, poets, theatre groups, storytellers, re-enactors and visual artists delivered in fascinating and inspiring historic spaces. From family-friendly storytelling to adults only performances, there is something for all tastes. Let your own imagination run wild with a range of creative workshops with established writers and poets on hand to help develop your skills. Find out more about our rich heritage and the events our castle walls have overseen through the centuries.

A special light projection will celebrate our unique motte and bailey castle ahead of major restoration works to the curtain wall which will commence in March 2023.

During the weekend all admission tickets are half price and many workshops and performances are included in the admission price. Evening performances are charged at a reduced rate.
