The organist on the film Interstellar, Roger Sayer, brings the original score by Hans Zimmer to the Cathedral's magnificent Hill Organ.  Three thrilling movements from Gustav Holst's epic The Planets begin a programme which will culminate in Roger's own version of Hans Zimmer's iconic music.

ROGER SAYER has been a major figure in British music for over 30 years, gaining international recognition as an organist, choral director, educator and examiner. Appointed Director of Music at Temple Church in 2013, he toured Europe, Australia and North America with the renowned Temple Church Choir alongside regular recitals and broadcasts. In 2014 he received a life‑changing call: an invitation to record the organ part for the blockbuster Interstellar. He later performed live with its composer, Hans Zimmer, at the Royal Albert Hall and in 2023 at London's O2 Arena for Hans Zimmer Live.
