On Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd November, Leek is hosting its very own two day beer festival to commemorate Ninkasi, the Sumerian goddess of beer and brewing. 

On Saturday 1st November there will be a procession around the town with of a figure of Ninkasi, made by local artist Chris Thompson. Later on join us in the Trestle Market, from 6pm till 10pm for German themed entertainment and food. The Oktoberfest Band, an oompah band like you have never heard before, will be performing traditional German tunes fused with modern classics.
