Mothering Sunday is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of Lent. Historically, it can be traced back to Medieval times, but today's celebrations have their roots in Georgian/Edwardian periods when servant girls who worked in large houses were given the day off and they would collect flowers on their way to visit their mother. The custom of giving flowers still continues today.

So this Mother's Day, as part of our Flowers For Mum event we are offering an opportunity for you to make your own posy for Mum.
