The Manifold Valley Agricultural Society was formed in 1980 to foster competition and fellowship within the rural community of the parishes bounding the course of the River Manifold.

Generally, entrants at the Annual Manifold Valley Agricultural Show are limited to those who live in these parishes. There are exceptions to this rule for the Heavy Horse section, the Rare Breeds, several of the Cattle Classes and for all of the Pet Classes and Driving Section.

There will also be arts, handicrafts and a home produce section, trade stalls and exhibitions.

For refreshments we have a licenced bar and many local producers serving food, drinks and snacks.
