Gather the family this May Half Term for a range of Commonwealth themed outdoor adventures, including our brand new Augmented Reality (AR) experience, amongst the Arboretum's spring colours.

The new Commonwealth ARboretum augmented reality experience takes families on a journey to learn about the diverse communities and friendship of countries that take part in the Commonwealth Games. Commonwealth ARboretum will be in the free Landscapes of Life exhibition in the Remembrance Centre.

Outdoors families can follow the Queen's Baton Relay Sticker Trail which invites you to locate the eight batons linked to memorials around the site. At each baton marker you will discover a fact about a Commonwealth community and can add the flag to the map in your trail pack. (Trail packs cost £2.50 per person)

The popular outdoor escape challenge, returns to the Arboretum for the Summer. This year's challenge linked to the Commonwealth theme and tests your cryptic puzzle solving skillls, while learning more about the memorials dedicated to Commonwealth communities. 

Challenge packs can be purchased upon arrival from the Arboretum Welcome Desk. Alternatively, you can pick up a free copy of the self-led Stick Man* Trail from the Welcome Desk.
