About
Dressed in traditional green robes, Father Christmas and Mother Christmas will be paying a visit to the Rock Houses this year. Step inside the Rock House with its cosy wood fire and enjoy a magical Christmas experience. As you journey through the festive rock dwellings, you'll be welcomed by our friendly Woodland Elves, who will help bring the magic of Christmas to life. Meet Father Christmas in his cosy surroundings where Mother Christmas will also be there to add to the joy, share your Christmas wishes, and receive a special gift to take home.
There will be plenty of opportunities to capture the magic, including a chance to have your photograph taken with Father Christmas, creating a treasured Christmas memory for years to come. Young visitors can also enjoy seasonal activities, including making their very own magic reindeer food, ready to sprinkle to help guide the sleigh to your home on Christmas Eve.
Come along on the weekends of 5th December, 12th December and 19th December for a wonderful experience filled with traditional Christmas magic, make joyful memories with the whole family. Tickets are £12.50 per child (accompanying adults do not have to buy a ticket but are subject to normal admission). Max 6 children per session.
For those children who need to visit at a quieter time or need extra time please see our 'Quieter Visits with Father Christmas' event and book tickets there.
Sessions are at weekends from 5th to 20th December, every 5 minutes from 10.30am – 12pm and then from 12.30pm – 2.30pm
The tearoom will also be open for delicious seasonal treats. Admission to the Rock Houses applies to non-members. Free entry for National Trust members and under 5s.
