Anyone with memories of the Mills of Cheadle and Tean is invited to come and share those memories. We are looking to capture and record as many memories as possible. We are inviting people directly involved with working at the mills, and family members whose parents and grandparents were connected in some way.

Children are also invited to come along and ask questions about the mills to gain a little insight into this important aspect of the town's heritage. There will be a children's art activity to accompany this event.

If anyone has any items of memorabilia that you could show, please bring them along.

This Memories of the Mills event is part of a grant funded project by UKSP Fund. The memories that are recorded will eventually be used to inform a large scale piece of art commemorating the importance of the mills to the Cheadle area.
