Mothering Sunday at Your Cathedral

Join us for a family-focussed service of celebration on Mothering Sunday at 3pm - complete with cake, flowers, and prayer cards!

We will be giving thanks for the love and nurture we give and receive and specially for the role parents play.

All are welcome!

Sunday 27 March – 17:30
At Choral Evensong at 17:30 we will be remembering those who, for whatever reason, will find Mothers' Day difficult this year.

Following the peaceful and reflective service there will be an opportunity to light candles in the Lady Chapel in memory of those who are in our hearts and minds.

Why not offer to accompany anyone you know who has lost their mother over the past 12 months, or who is coping with the loss of a baby or child, or for whom this day brings difficult memories of being unable to have children.

Members of the clergy will be available in the Lady Chapel to talk with anyone who is struggling.
