The Trent Washlands, as the names suggests, lies on the floodplain of the River Trent, this has recently undergone a large amount of work to help attract more wildlife to the area. Some of the routes include the sculpture trail, Cherry Orchards and the Centenary Woodland.

The walk is led by volunteer leaders and afterwards meet for lunch at the Burton Library (optional).
