The popular National Forest Walking Festival takes place annually in May. Join us for a host of varied walks to explore this ever changing landscape. With walks to suit every taste and ability, from gentle strolls to strenuous rambles and routes to cater for seasoned walkers as well as pushchairs, wheelchairs and family groups.

During the festival visitors can try Nordic Walking, take an educational stroll or a long distance ramble. The 90 walks within the programme can be found throughout the 200 square miles of forest area across Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.
