The parade to the Monument on Saturday 6 September will start at 10.30am from Sheepmarket, along Derby Street to the Nicholson War Memorial and the ceremony will begin just before 11:00 am.

There will be a religious rededication and a people’s commitment to peace and remembrance. We will celebrate the town, and the event will leave a worthy legacy. Sparrow Park will be enhanced and there will be an exhibition of art and memorabilia in the Churnet Rooms (SMDC offices) in Moorlands House
