Landscape view of The Roaches (Gritstone rock formations in Staffordshire)

About

A great walk along the Roaches, taking in the drama, beauty and mystery of this amazing ridge, and returning by the Black Brook valley and Ramshaw Rocks. We will visit the legendary Doxey Pool and other fascinating places, find out about the famous Roaches wallabies, and explore the history, legends, wildlife and landscape of this unique area. On a good day we will have fantastic views over the Cheshire Plain to the hills of North Wales and looking south to the hills of Shropshire.

As a bonus we climb 2 'Ethels'.  If these are your first Ethels, there are 93 more high points in the Peak District for you to visit!  Your Rangers will give you details.

Cost: £10 per person aged 18yrs and above.

Children aged 17yrs and below go free on any suitable event.
