The WordCraft team welcomes you to an afternoon of sparkling spoken word. Poets and performers of all abilities are invited to take the mic and showcase their work with a glass of prosecco (or a non-alcoholic alternative) in hand, or simply to sit back and enjoy a couple of hours of poetry as an audience member and support your local creatives. WordCraft is a long-standing, regular poetry and spoken word event that has been providing a cultural home for Stoke-on-Trent writers and performers since 2018. Led by former poet laureate Emily Galvin and Bottlecraft's Chris Wilson, the team strive to create a safe space and a community for writers of all levels to share their work and be inspired by the work of others.​
