Ragged Victorians

About

Not all Victorians celebrated Christmas with decorated trees, presents and festive dinners. Meet some characters from the lower levels of society and discover the harsh reality of life for the Victorian poor. The Ragged Victorians are an award-winning living history group, re-enacting the lower classes of Victorian England in the 1850's. See the rag-n-bone man, fisherman's wives, match girls, road sweeps, rat catcher, prostitutes, petty thieves and many more. Free with museum admission.
