STAFFORDSHIRE MOORLANDS WALKING FESTIVAL 2024

A circular walk starting in the village of Alstonfield led by Neil and Dorothy Sherratt. A steady walk to the village of Wetton before before dropping to back of Ecton and a gradual ascent of the historic Ecton Hill. After taking in the magnificent views from the top, descending into the Manifold Valley for a lunch stop (with toilets) at Wetton Mill.  A steady walk back to Alstonfield via Narrowdale.

PLEASE NOTE: the car park in Alstonfield with toilets is now a Pay and Display (£4.75 all day)
We suggest parking on the playing field car park (free) or the village hall car park (£1 donation to village hall). All car parks are signposted in the village and only a few minutes walk apart.
