STAFFORDSHIRE MOORLANDS WALKING FESTIVAL 2024

From the church, we walk through this picturesque village & follow the Hoo down the valley to Wetton Mill (toilets) then passing Dale farm, we climb up, skirting Sugar Loaf to Broad Ecton & Ecton trig point. We will take a gentle-ish descent and skirt the hill to the copper topped Foley & Cross Dale Bridge. A climb to the restored Littler’s Barn with the sight of Butterton church to guide us, as we pass south of Warslow & cross the valley of Warslow Brook before crossing meadows back to Butterton village, and a chance to rehydrate at the Black Lion.
