Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival 2025

Views abound on this roller coaster of a walk. Hills, fields, dales and quaint villages with plenty of coffee stops along the way. Whilst the crowds dissapear through the mud to Thor's cave we head down to the crystal clear River Manifold, before heading up onto hill tops with vistas all around. The day is spent up high and we bag a couple of quiet Ethels in the afternoon. We have a couple of stops in quaint villages, one has a café. Finishing up in Wetton we can celebrate with a pint at the pub.
