Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival 2026

Explore some of the routes of the Caldon Tramways, first constructed in 1777 to bring limestone from the Caldon Quarries to the Caldon Canal at Froghall Wharf. Historically they pre date the earliest railways. A further 3 tramways were constructed which operated until the 1920's.
