Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival 2026

This is a beautiful walk with a variety of things to see along the way. These include Dovedale stepping stones,  Lovers Leap, Reynard Cave and Ilam Rock. Enjoy stunning views from Thorpe Cloud (optional) and the surrounding landscapes as we meander alongside the River Dove, stopping half way for refreshments in Milldale at Pollys Cottage.

Take care during wet weather as the steeper sections of this walk can become muddy and slippery underfoot.

Please ensure you are wearing appropriate footwear and weather appropriate clothing.
