About
Join artist Emma-Leigh Hayes of Fragment Crafting in a spooky art class this October!
We will be learning how to make art out of our own handprints, looking into the cracks and creases of our own unique prints to make something unique and wonderful. These prints are a perfect keepsake for parents, a great way to introduce younger artists into fine art, and adds a new skill to even the most seasoned artist.
Pick up a pen, get your hands dirty, and let's make some creepy art to welcome in the spooky season.
This session is for ages 10+, of all abilities, curiosities and neurodivergence.
Accessibility
If you are neurodiverse this session is tailored to me and you. As an Autistic artist myself I try my best to make sure all my sessions focus on mindfulness, are calm, and are open to all levels and abilities. There will be calm lofi music playing while we chat together or work quietly, there is no pressure to get up and interact with anyone else. If you are content working on your own piece, then that is completely fine.
Please do contact me if you have mobility needs or need chair access, we will do our best to work with the museum to make sure everyone is accommodated and can attend.
Parking/Travel
There is a small amount of free and accessible parking outside the museum and overflow parking in the park.
If you need help getting to the museum then Newcastle community transport can offer door-to-door transport. Please provide 7 days notice
