It's 'COSPLAY TIME' at the next Stafford Walking Street May 12th 4- 9pm. If you've always wanted to dress up here's your chance to take part and have a bit of fun, we are delighted that Stormtrooper In A Teacup will be back raising funds for charity and you are more than welcome to have your picture taken with Darth Vader or one of the storm troopers

Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute band Red Hot Chili Potters based in Stoke on Trent, will be onstage at 8pm and Tribute to The Pretenders by Just Pretending on at 6.30 and we will be introducing an up and coming star 13 year old Joseph Davis (Telecastervision) on stage at 5.30pm

Lorraine Conkey the person behind Stafford Walking Streets said;

"We have something for everyone at the May Walking Street with Stu Haycock breakfast presenter at Stafford FM will be at the helm on stage with competitions for old and young , goodness knows what he'll dress up as with the Cosplay theme. There will be the variety of street food with some new additions, mobile bars, retail stalls, community groups and charities.

Local pubs such as Slaters, Ye Olde Rose & Crown, The Bear will welcome you in with your street food and No 3 will be happy for people to use their disabled toilet facilities, Branded Bargains will also be happy to use their facilities and portaloos will also be on Market Street. The Market Vaults have an 'open mic' taking place from 8pm and 'karaoke disco' from 7pm in The Bear. We want as many people and businesses involved as possible; a real community event"
