To celebrate Staffordshire Day we will be offering free entry for children (when accompanied by a full paying adult) on the afternoon of Thursday 1 May 2025. So if you're stuck for something to do as the County Council elections have closed your school then why not make the most of it and come to Tamworth Castle to learn more about our local history.

Free entry for children will be valid for entrance from 1.30pm - 3.00pm on Thursday 1 May 2025. And you can stay until the castle closes at 4.30pm.
