About

Staffordshire Way Challenge – Media Snapshot

Walk Talk Action, a Stoke-on-Trent mental health charity, is taking on the 95.8-mile Staffordshire Way from 10th–14th August 2026 to raise vital funds and awareness for mental health.

Over five consecutive days, our team will walk from Kinver Edge to Mow Cop Castle, tackling challenging terrain, unpredictable weather and long distances to highlight that recovery from poor mental health is also a journey taken one step at a time.

We would be incredibly grateful if you could help us by featuring our story, interviewing us, or sharing our fundraising campaign with your audience. We are also seeking local businesses to sponsor the challenge (£250 half-day or £500 full-day), with sponsors receiving promotion throughout the event across our social media, website and challenge updates.

Every donation will help Walk Talk Action continue supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, loneliness and social isolation through walking, talking and taking positive action.

For more information, interviews or sponsorship opportunities, please contact:
We would love to have you there for part of the Walk it would be great.
