WORKSHOPS
Eight-Legged-Rhyme poetry workshop (suitable for all ages)
A fun and interactive poetry workshop where participants will use creepy crawlies as inspiration to create their own wordplay, poetry and prose. Led by Worcester based poet Catherine Norris.
Sensory Sound Walks (suitable for all ages)
Led by sound artist Tom Peel, a series of sensory walks through the park, using plantwave sensors and hydrophones to listen to sounds from plants, trees and water. Tom also has huggable sensory speakers made from recycled water bottles, so sounds can be felt as well as heard. The walks can be delivered nonverbally and are suitable for all ages and abilities (vulnerable people should be accompanied by parents, carers or support workers).
Clay Mates (suitable for all ages)
Clay making workshop exploring all things nature with Burton based ceramicist Joanna Dawidowska. Clay making is a lot easier than you'd think, not to mention it's a boatload of fun for all the family.
Touch Screen Workshop (suitable for all ages)
