London’s acclaimed cosmic folk and UK Americana band The Hanging Stars bring their shimmering, harmony-rich sound to Leek for a special headline appearance at the 2026 Leek Arts Festival.

Fresh from supporting Edwyn Collins on his farewell tour — with whom they’ve also collaborated in the studio — The Hanging Stars continue to build their reputation as one of the most captivating live acts on the UK circuit.

Blending West Coast psychedelia, country-rock and British folk influences, the band have earned glowing reviews for their albums Over the Silvery Lake, Songs for Somewhere Else and On a Golden Shore. Expect unforgettable melodies, spellbinding harmonies as they conjure a sound both timeless and otherworldly.
