Stafford is our county town, it is full of paw-some history and heritage, from the Ancient High House (one of the oldest timber framed houses in England) to the Staffordshire History Centre and nearby Stafford Castle.

On this self-guided walking trail you'll find out about historic people and places that have shaped Stafford and the whole county.

It takes about 1-1½ hours to walk and is accessible for people with most abilities.

Don’t forgot to sniff out the three unique Staffy sculptures – developed by local artists and schools- and win some great prizes and discounts. They’re pup-tastic!

Remember that there are other Staffy Trails and Staffy’s to find – in Tamworth, Stoke, Lichfield and Uttoxeter.
