Walk the Moorlands

Join Richard for an evening walk onto The Roaches to witness the magic of a solar eclipse as daylight briefly fades over one of Staffordshire’s most dramatic landscapes.

• Never look directly at the Sun without approved solar eclipse glasses (ISO 12312-2 certified). Ordinary sunglasses are not safe.
• The eclipse begins at approximately 6:15 pm, reaches its maximum around 7:11 pm, and ends shortly after 8:00 pm, although exact times vary slightly by location.

• The post-walk reward will be a visit to a local pub.

• Bring a torch or a head torch, too.
