A great walk around the amazing Manifold Valley, taking in the drama of Ecton Hill and the copper mining past as well as the wonder and natural beauty of the valley and its river. We'll learn about the landscape, wildlife, geology and caves and explore legends and history.

Our lunch stop is at Wetton Mill where refreshments can be purchased from the Tea Room.

Discover the story of the Manifold Light Railway and climb Ecton Hill, for great views and to tick off another 'Ethel'!

Walk Grade: Moderate. Sometimes rough and uneven ground. Some steep gradients.
